Arrival and Departure
We will always try to accommodate guests who arrive early, but we
are unable to guarantee access to your room before 2.00pm on the
day of your arrival. Departure time is 11.00am but you may be able
to extend this to 5.00pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays (see Sunday
Plus above).
Children
Children under 6 years of age will be accommodated free of charge.
Children aged between 6 and 16 and sharing a room with their parents
will be charged £15.00 for Bed and Breakfast.
Deposits and Cancellations
All bookings received by the hotel will be subject to a deposit of the full amount of the first night’s stay. Deposit payments are credited to your account on arrival and are fully refundable if notice to cancel is received by the Hotel up to 48 hours prior to the date of arrival. Rooms cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will be charged the full price of one night at the agreed tariff.
Payment
Settlement of your bill, less any advance payments, must be made
prior to departure from the hotel. Cheques should be supported by,
and within the limits of, a current bankers card issued by any major
UK bank. Company cheques are not accepted without prior clearance.
All major credit cards are accepted.
Dogs
If you wish to bring your dog, please check in advance with the
hotel. We will be delighted to have small well-behaved dogs and,
with the exception of guide dogs, they are not allowed in food service
areas. You are responsible for controlling your dog, and will be
liable for any damage, soilage or injury however caused by the dog.
Dietary Requirements
With a current tally of 3 awards for fine dining, we are justifiably
proud of our food. At The Black Bull Hotel you will discover the
finest dishes, prepared from the freshest ingredients. We are pleased
to say we support this country's farming industry and, where possible,
source local produce as we believe it to be the best that is available.
Please notify us prior to your visit if you have any special dietary
requirements and it will be our pleasure to cater for you.
No Smoking Policy
For the comfort and enjoyment of our residents, we have a strict
'no smoking' policy in our bedrooms. However, guests who wish to
smoke are welcome to do so in our residents lounge and public bar
areas.
Car Parking
The hotel car park is at the rear of the building and is complimentary.
We do not accept responsibility for damage to, or theft from, vehicles
parked on the hotel site.

liking, please bring it to the attention of the proprietors immediately.
